Is this opportunity remote?

Yes, this is a 100% customer service remote position.

 

How old do I have to be to apply?

You must be at least 18 years of age in order to apply.

Do I have to take a drug test?

For some opportunities, drug tests are required. Please refer to the opportunity announcement after successfully registering a profile to determine which clients require drug screenings.

 

What do I need to get started?

A Computer or Laptop with Windows 10 & Antivirus protection, VoIP/Digital Telephone, or a landline phone, high-speed Internet service that’s hard-wired, a headset for phone or computer, and a USB headset for training, and a noise-free environment.

 

Will I be an employee of Valen Solutions?

No, you will be an Independent contractor through Valen Solutions. Independent contractors are considered self-employed and are responsible for paying their own taxes, getting their own health insurance, and purchasing materials needed to perform in the role. Valen Solutions partners with Arise to provide you a work-from-home business opportunity - not a job.

How is my pay rate determined?

Pay is determined by the client opportunity that you decide to service and ranges between $9.00 - $16.00 an hour. There are often opportunities for incentives.

 

How will I be paid?

You will be paid from Valen Solutions twice a month via direct deposit.

 

Can I contract with more than one client?

Yes, you can work for multiple clients and it is actually recommended to account for seasonal fluctuation in the call volume.

 

When can I start servicing a client program?

You must first register a profile, then enroll in your choice of a client certification/training course that fits your needs. Client certification/training courses can range anywhere from three weeks to eight weeks to complete depending on the client program selected.

 

Do I get paid during the client certification/training course?

Phase I of training is unpaid but you will begin earning revenue in Phase II as long as you are meeting the course requirements. Once you have registered a profile, please refer to the opportunity announcement(s) for the time frame of Phase I and Phase II for each client.

 

Do I have to pay for the client certification/training course?

Yes, the course does require you to pay a course enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is not reimbursed by the Service Partner or Valen Solutions. The enrollment fee is paid during the registration process.

Do I have to successfully pass the client certification/training course before servicing and choosing my own hours?

Yes, you can service during training, but you must successfully complete certification requirements before you are able to service on your own schedule.

 

Do I have to attend the client certification/training course every day?

Yes, 100% attendance participation is required. If you cannot attend class on a certain day, you are responsible for communicating with your instructor. After so many absences you will be dropped from the course.

 

Can I service client opportunities in any state or country?

We are accepting applications from residents in all states except in the following states: California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, or Wisconsin. You also must be authorized to work in the United States.

 

Do I choose the hours I want to work?

Yes, you choose the hours that you want to service. However, depending on each client opportunity you are responsible for servicing on required days with a certain number of hours, but you choose the times in which you decide to service.

 

Why is a Background Check required?

Customer Service Representatives work with sensitive information on a daily basis and background checks are performed to prevent theft, fraud, and other similar violations.

Fee Breakdown

Client Training: Charged by Arise. Training is normally 3 – 8 weeks depending on the complexity of servicing the client. Training is unpaid, per Arise, and is between $0.00 – $199.00 (this varies depending on client and demand - Sometimes we have FREE class specials.

Arise Systems Fee: Charged by Arise. A fee of $19.75 is charged every pay period for access to Arise systems and client technical support.  

 

Valen Solutions' Management Fee: An administration fee of $17.50 is charged per pay period. This is for the management, metrics tracking, payroll, and other services provided by Valen Solutions.
